We are proud to launch our new website; you’ll notice a slight logo tweak.

We've seen tremendous growth since opening the firm in January, 2019. It has opened doors we never believed would be imaginable. We've helped clients launch games, open restaurants, raise millions in capital, and create apps that change the world and advance technologies. We've collaborated with our non-profit clients, helping sick children find joy through play and opening economic opportunities for traditionally disenfranchised groups. We’ve spoken at Twitchcon in San Diego and given back to our local gaming and tech schools in Orlando by speaking on legal issues in Game Development. We've guided streamers and esports athletes in turning hobbies into careers and creating the potential for generational wealth.

Our clients shape the local tech ecosystem. When Orlando branded itself the Metacenter, it was a true joy to see so many client projects highlighted in the video.

A full-time admin has joined our team, allowing us to focus on work that moves the needle for clients. With our eyes to the future, we are growing into a true regional boutique firm with expertise in Video Games, Startups, Technology, the Metaverse, and Content Creation. With that goal in mind, it is time to adjust the logo and our URL to make our intents clear: helping as many clients as possible, while providing the best legal and strategic guidance and moving forward together. Our clients expect and deserve outstanding service and individualized care, and we will always provide that. Our clients will remain our number one priority and assisting them in achieving their goals, our highest honor.

Our clients are always looking toward the future.

So are we.

Even the City of Orlando has embraced the Metaverse by branding themselves the Metacenter, but what does that actually mean? In an attempt to modernize the social media juggernaut, Facebook rebranded itself as Meta. This was the first time the average person heard that term. However, that's far from the terms origins. The term Metaverse has been in existence for decades, but as we enter a new environment of connected technologies, it has gained popularity again. We've seen extreme advancements in the realm of AR, VR, IOT, Gaming, Machine Learning, AI and Blockchain. Things that felt previously like science fiction are starting to feel way more possible.

I grew up in Oviedo, FL, a few miles from what was then a much smaller UCF campus, which meant to anyone outside of the 407, I lived in Orlando. I watched space shuttle launches from my elementary school playground, and I remember when it ONLY took 25 minutes to drive from Oviedo to Disney. I had my Orlando Magic heart ripped-out twice when two of the best big men in the NBA left for the Lakers. As a UCF freshman, I proudly wore my Black and Gold to the first football game at our new on-campus stadium. Upon graduation I traveled just up the road to Gainesville for The University of Florida Law School, trading the Bounce House for Saturdays at The Swamp. Then, I came home. I’ve watched this city grow up alongside me. I’m proud to now be able to give back to my local community as an attorney, to help create jobs and spark innovation by guiding companies toward a brighter future. The City Beautiful has so much potential for tech and entertainment growth. With entertainment powerhouses Disney and Universal and higher education institutions, such as Full Sail and UCF, investing in the tech and gaming industries, Orlando’s poised to become an even more influential tech hub. The synergism between art, culture, simulation, tech, and design can propel the city to new heights. I’m excited to help groups push new tech startups here in Orlando, Florida. Centered within technology, entrepreneurship, and creative strategy, Laster Law brings innovative solutions to our clients.
